1. About Parish Chapel

Parish Chapel is a mobile and web platform developed by BMXApps that enables Catholic parishes to communicate with their communities. The App provides access to Mass schedules, bulletins, events, devotions, and community features. Parish administrators access a separate web-based admin portal to manage their content.

2. Eligibility

Parish Chapel is open to all members of the parish community — individuals and families of any age are welcome to use the App. Parish administrators must be duly authorised representatives of their respective parishes.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Parish Registration

Parishes may apply to join Parish Chapel by submitting a registration request. Approval is at our discretion. Once approved, parish administrators agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information about their parish
• Ensure all content published through the admin portal is appropriate, accurate, and lawful
• Not use the platform to distribute spam, misinformation, or content contrary to Catholic teaching or applicable law
• Keep login credentials secure and restrict admin access to authorised personnel only

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Parish Chapel to:

• Upload or share unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or offensive content
• Impersonate any person or organisation
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform
• Use automated means to scrape, index, or extract data
• Interfere with or disrupt the platform's operation

6. Content Ownership

Content you upload (bulletins, photos, announcements, etc.) remains your property. By uploading it to Parish Chapel, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store and display that content as necessary to operate the service. We do not claim ownership of your content.

7. Intellectual Property

The Parish Chapel name, logo, app design, and original code are the intellectual property of BMXApps. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

8. Service Availability

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may suspend or modify the service at any time for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons, with or without notice.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we believe pose a risk to the platform or its users. Parish registrations may be revoked if a parish no longer meets our requirements or if requested by the parish.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Parish Chapel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be free from errors, viruses, or other harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BMXApps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or platform, including loss of data or service interruptions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation, and if necessary, through the appropriate courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
